January 2001 And the winner is...
It is with great pride that Virtopera announces the winners of " Virtoperas
Geni User "game, the first network-opera-in-progress. The winners
are Geni Users Carmen, Charly and Silke, who have contributed
extensivly to the Virtopera, and have accordingly, attained the most
Genius IQ points. Congratulations! |

January 2001 The final sprint:
Time is moving fast, with only a few days before the big finale in
Cologne. If you want to be there live, then you are once again warmly
invited to join us on Friday January the 12th, 2001 at 2 pm (EST)
/ 7 pm (UTC) / 8 pm (CET).

On
the 15.1 it's finally here:
The release of Eberhard Schoener's
second short opera CD. Included are songs and arias
from the Live-Events in Salvador and Cologne, with authentic
performances by Helen Schneider, Mariella Santiago and
Laurence Gien. You can hear arias and songs from the
Manuta on Schoener's first short opera CD. Here the works
are performed by Andrea Bocelli, Gianna Nannini and
Nida Palacios. On the third CD Virtopera (to be released
in the first half of 2001) you will find a series of the new
and the continual form of the Opera.
Cold Genius will of course live on!

the Virtopera editorial team will each day be distributing Forum IQ-Points.

Dec 2000 We are very proud of the great success of the
Live-Event in Calcutta yesterday: Cold Genius for the first time was
able to prove himself, without The Sage/The Man of Knowledge interfering
and he succeeded excellently. He disregarded the ban not to sing,
from the Sage/The Man of knowledge, (Salvador da Bahia) and sang a
fantastic song that surprised us all! |

Gabriel joins Virtopera! We
are very pleased to announce and welcome, Peter Gabriel, who will
join Virtopera as a protagonist: Peter Gabriel will participate in
the Chat with Eberhards Schöner at the Live-Event in Calcutta. On
